Not to worry Bernard. We're going to have 6.3 beta coming soon and that build will focus on the new scan settings.
We wanted to get the new scan settings page as well as a completely new scanning workflow into the 6.2 release but we ended up taking this feature out because it just wasn't ready yet. There are a few reasons for pulling this feature out of 6.2 and releasing 6.2 instead of holding up the release.
The new group scanning and scan settings page seemed to be well liked based on the 6.2 beta feedback but with such a significant change to such a critical part of the application, we wanted to ensure that we gave the release enough testing time for the Community users during the beta cycle. Unfortunately, we didn't get the scan settings/ group scanning changes completed until late in the beta cycle and we are a little way off...
